NPV evaluates nuclear investments through a technoeconomic lens, not purely a technical one. Brilliant reactor designs fail commercially all the time. We ask: is this manufacturable at scale? Can it actually get built, financed, and permitted? We prioritize commercially viable solutions over academically impressive ones.

NPV believes the nuclear buildout requires both water-cooled reactors and advanced reactors, not one or the other. AP1000s are delivering gigawatts today. Microreactors and molten salt designs are unlocking new markets tomorrow. The industry doesn't have the luxury of picking one path. All nuclear plants require fuel, regardless of which reactor design wins. NPV is actively building exposure to the nuclear fuel supply chain — enrichment, conversion, and adjacent infrastructure — because these companies benefit from the entire industry's growth, not just individual technology bets. This is the most durable layer of the value chain.

Enabling Technologies
We back the technologies and resources that enable nuclear to maximize its value, upstream and downstream — grid tech, power electronics, turbines, transmission and distribution, batteries, medical isotopes, nuclear batteries. A rising tide lifts all boats: the full nuclear vertical has to be capitalized for any of it to flourish. Billions poured into reactors deliver little if nobody can build them — and reactors without the infrastructure that connects them to demand deliver far less than the opportunity could.
